Peer Pressure

Peer pressure is not only bad, it can be disastrous.

Many glorious destinies have been marred by this subtle killer.

People with low self esteem, identity crisis or inferiority complex are usual easy prey for the 'pressure gang'.

When you think you are not good enough, beautiful enough, endowed enough.

Or when you are body-shamed, loathe your background and feel trapped in poverty.

There's something these does to your psyche, it makes you feel less.

There's a higher chance for man who is not in Christ to be swallowed up by peer pressure than a man who is.

The first place of overcoming peer pressure is coming into the place of Christ's free and full salvation.

Knowing that you are accepted and loved by the Father regardless of your physiological makeup, mental capacity and financial background goes a long way in building up one's estimation of oneself.

That you are all that Christ is.

We have too many people who have no identity roaming out on the streets because they have not discover who they are.

When a man knows not who he is or what he carries, he becomes a dumping ground for every nonsense.

Maybe the reason why you dress like that, watch that X-rated clip, lose your dignity on the bed of immorality and run into the enclave of cultists is because you know not who you are.

It's not enough to sing Sinach's 'I Know Who I Am', the question is, 'do you really know who you are?'

First thing first, have you allowed the overwhelming love of the Father to sweep you off your feet?

That's where we ought to begin.

The National Secretary of the group, Hon. Kassim Muhammad Kassim, in a statement, yesterday, said the group’s mission was misunderstood by the presidency to mean that Sheriff’s committee was to compete with the Presidential Campaign Council headed by Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi.
