1. Lagos state lifts ban on use of hijab by secondary school students The Lagos State government has made U-turn on the prohibition of the use of the hijab on uniforms in schools. Tutor General/Permanent Secretary, in a circular signed by A.O Olukoya, entitled “Re-The Use of Hijab in Lagos State Public Schools,” eased the ban on the use of hijab in schools in the state. 2.
