Nigeria to play against South Africa on November 17, 2018

preparations ahead of Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Nigeria super eagles will play against South Africa on November 17, in Johannesburg with 22 players taking part in Tuesday’s

training session, Sportsfora.com reports.

The Asaba stadium called ‘Stephen Keshi Stadium’ came to live as players of the Super Eagles commenced their

training session.

While France based winger Samuel Kalu is still being expected in camp.

Seven players of the squad made use of the gym on Monday to step up their fitness level, while 15 others linked up with their teammates on Tuesday.

However, the Eagles are expected to train twice on Wednesday at the Stephen Keshi Stadium.

Fans came around to watch Super Eagles train in readiness for the South Africa clash.

Most noteworthy, Officials and players of the team, will fly straight to Johannesburg on Thursday evening

from Benin City airport aboard a Max Air chartered flight.

Consequently, they will have a feel of the FNB Stadium Johannesburg on Friday, a day to the highly anticipated encounter.

The Super Eagles are top of Group E standings in the 2019 AFCON qualifiers with nine points – one point ahead

of South Africa, while Libya are on four points and Seychelles have one point.

The AFCON 2019 qualifier against South Africa is a crunch tie which the Eagles need to pick up maximum points.
